Order Policies
Order Acceptance
To help reduce fraud and keep our prices low, verification
of information prior to the acceptance of any order may be
required. An order is not deemed accepted until at least,
payment clears in good funds and it is determined that the
quantities are available to fulfill the request. Cahoon's
Closet reserves the right, without prior notification, to
refuse service to any user or limit the order quantity on
any items it deemed necessary.
International Orders
Cahoon's Closet does not generally accept international
orders from this website. All shipping information, order
policies and procedures given on this site are for purchaser
located in and ship to within the United States. Policy for
international purchases and shipments will be different. If
you live outside the United States and are interested in
making a purchase please contact support@cahoonscloset for
additional information concerning availability, pricing,
shipment cost, additional requirements or regulations and
any other information that may be needed. If at all possible
we will do everything possible to help you find what you
need.
Out of Stock Items
While every effort is made to prevent out of stock items we
can not guarantee items listed for sale on our site are
actually in stock at the time of purchase. In cases where
items are not in stock and not expected to arrive in a
timely manner to meet our normal shipping deadlines,
Cahoon's Closet will inform the purchaser immediately upon
becoming aware of the situation. The customer will be give
the opportunity to cancel the order in full or in part and
will be given a refund for any amount attributable to the
canceled items. If the customer does not cancel the order in
a timely manner the order will be processed as soon as the
ordered merchandise arrives. If the customer so chooses they
can have the order shipped when completed or in part with
any backordered items shipping upon their arrival. A
customer will not incur additional shipping cost for orders
that are accepted for out of stock items. Cahoon's Closet
retains the right to have said out of stock merchandise
shipped directly from the manufacturer to the buyer at their
discretion. Furthermore, Cahoon's Closet assumes no
responsibility for any damages or loss of business caused by

Forms of Payment
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Paypal (Amex & Discover Accepted
Through Paypal), Checks (allow up to 10days to clear bank)
and money orders. Many people are scared of buying things
online using credit cards, but let us assure you we follow
only the strictest security precautions when handling your
data. In fact, your credit card information will never be
stored on our server. In addition to our precautions many
credit card and even some debit card companies are now
offering protection for fraud when making online purchases.
We also accept PayPal payment system. We not only accept
MasterCard and Visa through Paypal, but also accept American
Express, Discover and most other credit cards through them.
Paypal is one of the most popular payment methods on the
internet with the invention of online auctions. They even
have an option whereby once you are set up you can have the
money taken directly out of your checking account to avoid
having to give you credit card information to strangers.

measures in the industry to help prevent fraud and protect

would adding items to your basket. Then once you are done go
through the normal check out process. Once you have signed
in or registered you will come to the screen allowing you to
select your shipping method and to check your shipping
address. After hitting continue you will come to the billing
information screen. About half way down you will see the
payment method box. Select check or money order and complete
the rest of the screen. Next, hit continue. This will
display your order information. Check it for completeness
and accuracy and hit confirm to complete your check out.
Send payment to the address provided on the confirmation
email and once your payment is received and cleared (Check,
Money Order, or Credit Card Information) your items will be
shipped.
Returned Checks And Money Orders
Cahoon's Closet charges a $20.00 fee for any returned checks
and money orders. The person presenting the check or money
order as payment for purchase agrees to reimburse Cahoon's
Closet any fees, legal or non-legal, occurred in the
collection process of money owed (including Returned Item
Fees).
Credit Card Fraud or Misuses
Cahoon's Closet has several procedures to prevent credit
card fraud by it's customers. By doing so it helps us keep
prices low. Unfortunately, no procedures can prevent 100% of
fraud attempts. Thus, Cahoon's Closet believes in
cooperating with local, national and international law
enforcement to help prosecute or investigate any illegal
actions. Furthermore, by using this site you agree that any
payment information you provide is accurate to the best of
your knowledge, that you have legal right to present such
form of payment and that if it is discovered that you
intentionally or unintentionally presented a form of payment
that you did not have such legal right for or which is
returned or refused you will be responsible for not only the
payment owed for any merchandise or services received, but
will also be responsible for reimbursing Cahoon's Closet the
cost of any fees, expenses and/or assessments, legal or
non-legal in nature to collect the full amount of the money

Shipping Policy
It seems like the number one question everyone has always
revolves around shipping so here is a summary of our
shipping policies. First, shipping is not a profit center
for our company like it is for many of our competitors. We
simply hope over time to break even on the cost. Lets face
it the more we charge you the less likely you are to do
business with us.
Proper Shipping Address
We ship most of our items via the United States Postal
Service, but in order to help keep cost down we will
sometimes use other carriers. Thus we will need a physical
address to ship merchandise to since many of the other
companies will not deliver to PO boxes. The shipping
information you provide is automatically entered into the
shipping labels we print and put on the packages. Thus, it
is vitally important you review the shipping address you
have provided and inform us as soon as possible if errors
are made. Cahoon's Closet can not be held responsible for
delays or lost shipments caused by inaccurate or incomplete
shipping information provided to us.
Calculation of Shipping Cost
Once you have logged into your account or provided a ship to
address you will find at the bottom many pages as well as at
the bottom of your shopping cart your available shipping
options. Therefore, you will always know how much you will
be charged for shipping.
Drop Shipped Items
If your purchase included any items that has a shipping type
listed at the bottom of the item listing page as "drop ship"
then it will be shipped directly from our supplier to you in
order to help reduce shipping cost. What this means to you
is that if you purchase multiple items from us on one order
and at least one of them is a drop ship item then there is a
high likelihood your order will arrive in multiple boxes and
possibly on different dates. You will not be charged any
additional fees or a higher rate of shipping on orders that
are shipped this way.
Currently the cost of ground shipping
on all orders over $75 is FREE. Therefore a great way
to save on the cost of shipping is to combine your orders
with friends family members and co-workers. This offer is
subject to change without notice. This policy is subject to
change without warning so be sure to order soon.
All of the cost above (including free shipping offer above)
is for regular ground transportation within the continental
United States. If you need something faster or if you live
outside the US, email us for a quote since most of our items
can be shipped using faster services at an additional
charge. Some of our items can even be shipped overseas.

Personalized or Embellished Product Policies
Use of Trademark, Logos, Copyrighted Materials or Other
Materials Covered Under Intellectual Property Laws
Below you will find our policies listed in more detail. Be
sure to read and fully understand your obligations before
proceeding to make purchases on this site.
It is ultimately the buyers
responsibility to make sure they have complete and
unrestricted rights to use and such items. Cahoon's
Closet retain the right to ask for proof of such legal right
before accepting any order and to cancel any order made if
it is discovered purchaser did not have such rights. The
purchaser will become responsible for reimbursing Cahoon's
Closet and cost incurred in processing the order and any
money paid at time of placing the order will not be
refunded.
Estimated Production Time
Normally most of our personalized items are ready for
shipment within three to five business days of receiving
completed or confirmed artwork, or order date if such
information is not needed. In case of large orders or at
times of peak business it may take significantly longer. On
orders under five items you will be be informed if it will
take more than a ten business days (from approved artwork,
if required) to complete along with an estimated ship date.
On larger orders, orders over five items, at peak times of
the year or if deliver time is of the utmost importance,

BEFORE placing your order.
Personalization or Embellishment of Items Provided
By Customer
Cahoon's Closet regularly embroiders on or embellishes items
provided by it's customers. For the most part work done on
these items are covered by the policies that cover those
items provided by Cahoon's Closet and it's supplier for
embellishment with one exception. Many of the processes we
employ are not exact sciences. Variations in the resulting
embellishments are to be expected. Thus, while every
precaution will be taken Cahoon's Closet can not be held
responsible for items damaged while embroidering or
providing other embellishing services. Embroidery designs
and digitally imprinted items are especially sensitive to
the type of materials that are used. All of our processes
are calibrated and tested on our equipment for the best
results. Furthermore, if we proved the blank we can always
replace it if damaged in production. Therefore, it is
strongly recommended that if you have a one of a kind item
or an item you can not live with out, please don't ask that
we do the work. While problems are extremely rare, they do
arise. If you do wish to proceed we will take every
precaution to make sure there are no issues, but ultimately
we can not take responsibilities for damage to the item you
provide.

Return & Refund Policies
We here at Cahoon's Closet strive to provide the highest
level of customer service and satisfaction, but we realize
there are times when you get something and it is not quite
what you hoped it would be. We also realize many people are
hesitant to purchase things online out of fear they won't
like what they get. With that in mind we have instituted a
fairly liberal return policy.
Normal Return Policy
(Excludes Personalized, Embellished or Drop Shipped
Items-See Below)
On most items we sell, if for any reason you don't like an
item you get from us you can return it to us in it's
original package in resalable condition within 30 days of
placing your order and we will gladly refund you the
original purchase price (not including freight) or give you
credit towards your next purchase.
We inspect all products for damage before they are shipped
out of one of our warehouses. We also take every precaution
to make sure your purchase gets to you safe. However,
accidents do happen. If on the odd chance you get an item
that has been in damaged in shipping you will need to notify
your carrier immediately. After doing so you can then
contact us. Most carriers will reimburse you for damage
caused by shipping, but in the odd case they will not we
will do our best to rectify the situation and make you
happy.
In the unfortunate event that you are forced to return
something, you will need to contact us using our contact
page or at
support@cahoonscloset.com
for a return authorization number and shipping instructions.
We do not accept any returns without prior authorization.
Return Policy on Personalized Items
One of the great things about many of our items is they can
be personalized to include your personal touch, like an
engraved message, an embroidered design, a monogram or even
a digitally imprinted logo. While every effort will be made
to get things right by the nature of things we will not be
able to give refunds or credits on items that have been
personalized or embellished in any way. In most cases you
will be contacted by one of our designers and your order
will be reviewed. Any custom artwork will be sent to you for
approval before we start work. Upon approval of the design
or start of work your order can not be canceled. Also, note
that the processes do lend themselves to slight variations
in colors or finishes. While we try to employ the highest
quality controls and top of the line processes by being
personally made you can expect slight variation from one
item to another in color and final product. Therefore,
please verify all names, all color selections, and all
designs before submitting your order.
Return Policy For Drop Shipped Items
At the bottom of each product listing there should be a
shipping type listed. If not, or if you are not sure, please
contact us. Those items that are marked as "Drop Ship" are
sent to you direct from our suppliers in order to save you
the additional cost of having to ship it first to us and
then to you. When you place an order for a drop shipped
product we immediately relay that information to the
manufacturer. This is normally done within minutes of you
completing an order when payment is received. While many of
our suppliers have good return policies and will always
replace damaged or defective items, they do often have
different policies than ours. Therefore, if you are
concerned about making a purchase of a drop shipped product
or if you have questions about their return policy please
contact us at

and we would be glad to help you out. As always we try to
provide the highest level of customer service and will do
everything we can to help minimize the risk of an
unsatisfied customer.
Remember, if you purchase multiple items from us on one

Digitizing, Artwork Preparation or Other Miscellaneous Fees
Digitizing Services
Digitizing fees are the cost, if any, associated with
converting an image, logo, monogram or other item into a
file format that will allow it to be embroidered on a
specific type of item, on a particular fabric at a specific
size. Such fees are normally one time fees for the creation
of a file for a specific design, size and material to be
stitched on. Variations in size, material, design or type of
item from which we were originally asked to digitize the
design, may sometimes, but not always, incur additional
digitizing fees to make sure the file will stitch correctly.
All effort will be made to minimize stitch count while being
sure not to compromise the quality of the embroidered image.
A sample of the final digitized image can be obtained free
of additional charge before production starts if the
customer so chooses. All digitizing fees are due and must be
paid for prior to starting any work on your file and are not
refundable. Cahoon's Closet, its agents and parent company
are not responsible for designs run on fabrics other than
those for which they were originally digitized or for any
size deviations made by the end user or its agents, nor are
we responsible for damaged goods resulting there from. We
are happy to work with you to correct any problems or make
any changes requested prior to production. Once artwork
approval has been obtained and production has been schedule
designs can not be changed or altered without incurring
additional fees.
Cahoon's Closet retains the rights to all stitch files. An
$85 transfer fee will be charged for digitized stitch file
transfer to 3rd parties upon written request. Cahoon's
Closet retains the right, at it's sole discretion to refuse
transfer of said file.
Cahoon's Closet assumes no responsibility for any
infringement of rights. Your purchase of our designs and/or
digitizing services in any form or format does not include
your right to use them in regard to any claim of trademark,
copyright or registration mark protected.

Design, Photo Editing or Other Miscellaneous
Production Fees
Cahoon's Closet tries to minimize all production fees,
however if such services are needed they will be specified
upfront before starting work along with a written estimate
and a description of the service to be performed. You will
never be hit with a fee without such documentation and
chance to decline the service. These fees will always be due
and payable upfront before work begins and are not
refundable. In a case where a time estimate is used in
calculating the initial amount due a customer will be
refunded any money paid that was attributable to time that
was not needed to complete the task. Thus, you will only pay
for time that was actually needed to complete the task.
However, if it appears the project will take more time then
was originally estimated the customer will receive a written
notice explaining why the additional time is needed and if
applicable any additional charges that will be incurred. At
this point the customer can ask the work be halted in which
case there would be no further cost incurred or they can
agree to the additional work in which case they will be
liable for any additional costs.

Trademarks, Logos, Copyrighted Material or Other Materials
Covered Under Intellectual Property Laws
The site user represents and warrants to Cahoon's Closet
that they have the right to use, copy and distribute each
trademark, trade name, logo, statement, graphic, artwork,
name, photograph, portrait, picture or illusion of any
person or any other intellectual property in the way it is
to printed on, sewn, or otherwise applied to the products
ordered by the user or customer from Cahoon's Closet.
The user/customer warrants that, in obtaining the material
and submitting it to Cahoon's Closet for reproduction, they
have not violated the property rights of a third party. The
user/customer further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless
Cahoon's Closet, Cahoon Enterprises and it's associated
companies and its owners, officers, employees and agents
from any suit, demand, claim, loss, liability, damage or
expense made against Cahoon's Closet by reason of breach of
this warranty, and also agrees to pay any judgment or
settlement offer resulting from any suit, demand, or claim
and to pay any attorney's fees incurred by Cahoon's Closet
in defending against any such suit, demand or claim.
The burden of determining that
any material is not protected by trademark or other
proprietary right rests solely with the user/customer.
The user/customer is solely responsible for obtaining proper
permissions and licenses, except as may be permitted by
copyright law, from third parties whose rights may be
violated or infringed upon by the use of any material
protected by trademark, service mark, copyright or other
proprietary rights.
A customer may not use any logo or other graphic material in
a manner that may infringe upon copyright, trademark,
service mark or other proprietary mark. A customer also may
not use any logo or trademark in a vulgar, libelous,
disparaging or otherwise unlawful manner.
Cahoon's Closet assumes no responsibility for damages or any
wrongdoing that the customer may cause using a logo,
trademark or copyrighted item. The customer further agrees
to indemnify and hold Cahoon's Closet harmless from and
against any suit, demand, claim, loss, liability, damage or
expense made against or incurred by Cahoon's Closet by
reason of the unauthorized, improper, or illegal use of any
logo or trademark or copyright that is printed on, sewn or
otherwise applied to merchandise ordered or purchased by the
customer through Cahoon's Closet.
It is ultimately the buyers

Use of Data Encryption Technology
For your assurance and security our site is secured by a

No Credit Card Information is Stored On Our Servers
Any payment methods that require you to provide credit card
information are processed by outside companies (Authorize.net,
PayPal, Google Payments, etc) and thus none of your credit
card information is ever stored on our server or on any
server that can be accessed directly via the internet. If
you combine this with the 128-bit SSL encryption techniques
we employ the likelihood that your information will ever be
compromised is minimized.
Use of Cookies
To serve you faster and with better quality, we use "cookie"

"personalize" itself for each user by remembering

Fair Credit Billing Act
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you
liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges made on
your account. If your bank does hold you liable for any of
this $50.00, we will cover the entire unreimbursed liability
for you, up to the full $50.00. We will only cover this
liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card
resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made
while using our secure server. In the event of unauthorized
use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card
provider in accordance with its reporting rules and
procedures and exhaust all remedies available to you through

Disclaimer of Liability & Other Miscellaneous Clauses
The user acknowledges that use of this site is at his/her
sole risk. The site is not warranted to be error free or
uninterrupted; hence, there is no warranty as to the results
obtained through use of the site. This site and all its
contents are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties
of any kind, either express or implied, including without-
limitation Warranties of Title or implied Warranties of
Merchantability or Fitness for a Particular Purpose.
The user acknowledges, by his/her use of the site, that site
usage is at his/her own risk, that the user assumes full
responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary
servicing or repairs of any equipment used in connection
with use of the site, and that Cahoon's Closet shall not be
liable for any damages of any kind related to the user's use
of the site.
Cahoon's Closet liability to the user, if any, shall not
exceed the total of the invoice for products and services
provided on the transaction or dispute. Cahoon's Closet
shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential,
reliance or special damages for harm to business, lost
profits, lost savings or lost revenues, whether or not
Cahoon's Closet has been advised of the possibility of such
damages.
Cahoon's Closet shall not be liable for any damage that the
client/user may suffer arising out use, or inability to use,
the products and services provided hereunder unless such
damage caused is an intentional act of Cahoon's Closet.
The company shall not be liable for unauthorized access by
third parties to the user's transmission facilities,
premises or equipment or for unauthorized access to or
alteration, theft, loss or destruction of user's network,
systems, applications, data files, programs, procedures, or
information through accident, fraudulent means or devices,
or any other method.
These limitations of liability shall apply regardless of the
form of action, whether in contract, warranty, strict
liability or tort, and shall survive failure of an exclusive
remedy. The provisions of this paragraph will survive any
sale completed with the client and any change or elimination
of these Terms of Service and or the Cahoon's Closet's
website.
Any litigation commenced as a result of the use of this
website shall take place in the state and County of Richland
County, South Carolina. Either party shall contact the
second party in notification of such action and proof of
such notification shall be provided to the court. In the
event of their absence from court on the date set forth,
both parties do hereby agree to abide by the decision of the
court of Richland County, South Carolina; and further
understand that action to enforce the decision of this court
will be taken within their state, or any state or county, to
execute the decision of the court of Richland County, South
Carolina.
Cahoon's Closet retains the right to change these and all
company policies without notice to the user. Thus, if you
