Getting Started

1. Read and familiarize yourself with the policies and considerations listed later in this page.
2. Decide what you want - I am telling you the truth when I say your imagination is really the only limit in what can be done.

3. Summarize what you want - If you have a particular product you want to put your design on or if you see a stock design you are interested in be sure to write that down. Include the product/design numbers, where you want the design to appear, the color & sizes needed, when you will need it completed by and how many you will need. All of this will be needed to put together the best quote for you in the most efficient manner. If you don't document what you want when you ask for a quote or if you are not specific in what you want this will only serve to delay your final production and delivery or result in inaccurate estimated cost. 4. Get a quote - Once you have decided on what you want you will be ready to get your quote. You will need to submit our a quote request form by CLICK HERE or on any of the "GET A QUOTE NOW" links on this page or the link at the bottom of any of the other pages. You will be asked to complete a quick form providing us with the detail of what you want done. Furthermore, you will be given the opportunity to upload any image files that will be needed.
5. Contact from our design staff - Once we have your quote request and ideas one of our trained design specialist will review it. If they need additional information they will contact you for clarification. From there they will then prepare you a quote detailing the cost and what work is to be done. If that is acceptable you will let us know and we will provide information about how to pay. 6. Artwork Approval - If you are having us prepare custom artwork or digitizing an image you will received a copy of the image or artwork for you to review prior to starting production. You will be asked to let us know if it meets your approval before we begin work. For digitized files you can also ask for a sample of the embroidered image be mailed to you for approval. REMEMBER COLOR OF IMAGES WILL VARY FROM COMPUTER TO COMPUTER AND FROM MONITOR TO MONITOR. THUS BY THE NATURE OF THE PROCESS THERE WILL BE SLIGHT VARIATIONS FROM WHAT APPEARS ON YOUR SCREEN TO WHAT SHOWS UP ON THE RESULTING PRODUCT.

Policies and Other Considerations

• No Offensive Images or Language-Cahoon's Closet believes in only producing items that are in good taste. We reserve the right to turn down any job that we deem as offensive in any way.
• Return Policy- Please be sure to visit our return policy page before placing any custom or personalized order as the policies pertaining to the return of such items is different than our standard policy.
• Copyright Warning/Policy - Cahoon's Closet believe in respecting all copyright and other intellectual property rights. We will refuse to print or sew any item for which we don't have permission to reproduce. The customer is ultimately responsible for obtain such permission if they don't already have it. • Type of Artwork File Accepted - We use state of the art digital imaging technology including the latest versions of Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and thus can accept a wide range of file formats. In addition to those files for Corel and Adobe we can accept .jpg, .gif, .tiff and may other common formats. If you are not sure contact support@cahoonscloset.com
• For digital printing the resulting final product will depend a great deal on the quality of artwork you provide. Normally .tiff or .jpg formats of at least 300 dpi for photo are preferred while most vector formats work best for other graphics. In most cases the larger the image (bigger mega-pixels) the easy the image is to work with. It is much easier to make images smaller to fit products than to make them larger. We have special software to increase image sizes, but even so the process can result in loss of the quality. Also remember the colors you see on the screen may not be or in most cases are will not be exactly the same colors you will see when printed. The colors in an image on one monitor vary from those of another based on many factors that are outside our control. All of our monitors are calibrated to help reduce color variation, but you must be aware there will be some variance between your monitor colors and the final resulting product. All effort will be made to minimize such variations.
• Brands or Logo Use - As with other copyrighted material we can not reproduce any brands, trademarks or logos without permission of the right holder. For more details on our policy with regards to such matters visit our Copyright Information Page.
• Quantity Discount Policies - All of our quoted prices include a stated artwork fee or have the fee included in the final price. Since many of these fees are one time in nature or are reduced in larger product runs we usually offer discounts for placing larger orders of the same product.
• On all personalized or customized orders that do not have a separate artwork preparation fee or charge for setting up the process it is included in the price. If the artwork provided does not meet our meet our minimum standards or requires more than customary work to prepare for production you will be notified and given the option of canceling the order or paying additional fees to cover the additional time it will take to get the image completed. Cahoon's Closet retains the right to refuse any image that it deems is of such poor quality it can not be used without seriously jeopardizing the quality of the product provide or the image of the company.
• Digitizing Fees - These are fees that may be assessed for preparing custom artwork for embroidery. This cost covers the cost of having your image converted into a file format that can be stitch on a particular material and at a particular size. These are normally one time fees if you are getting the same image at the same size on similar materials.
